Gathered from the wild

Where our materials come from—and the promise behind our work.

The bones, wood, botanicals, and natural remnants used by Curio & Crow are gathered with respect. Bones are found, naturally shed, responsibly obtained, or given a second life from existing collections. Wood comes from fallen limbs, recovered pieces, and overlooked scraps. Flowers and plants are gathered or dried by us whenever possible.

Nothing is killed for the purpose of our work.

We do not try to erase every crack, scar, or weathered edge. These details belong to the material. They reveal where it has been and are part of what makes every Curio & Crow piece one of a kind.

When we know the origin of a material, we preserve it. When we do not, we are honest about that too. The stories surrounding our pieces may be imaginative, but their materials are always described truthfully.

The wild leaves something behind. We simply listen for what it might become.
